Photo from Violet Bella. This sweet crocheted envelope is from Violet Bella. Find Laura's pattern here. Hello all.
After three months of illness and family challenges, I am doing my best to reboot the project.
During this past fall, I have been working on the first two blankets and will post pictures of them very, very soon. My goal it to have dozen or may blankets distributed by the anniversary date and then another dozen by next holiday season.
My energy is returning slowly and you can read more about our situation here if you are interested. This is certainly not required reading. Projects, including this one, abound, but I am so looking forward to getting back into the thick of things and feeling productive once again. There are two clear signs that I am ill or stressed beyond my limits. The first is I stop drinking coffee and the second is that I lose my creative drive. This fall has been one without creativity and without much in the way of good coffee. Sigh.
I very much appreciate your support and your continued caring these past three months. I am hoping to enter the new year with merely a few symptoms and a grateful heart as I continue to be on the mend. Watch for regular updates. And, if I owe you a thank you post/pictures and an e-mail, these are on the way shortly.
With heart,
Kelly

Hi Kelly, I am very interested in making squares for your project. I knit. So that is what my squares will be. I think this is a neat project you are taking on, and I hope and pray you are feeling better soon. God bless, Sally in Florida.
